Condo Guide
Welcome to my home! Here you can find some helpful tidbits to make your vacation more enjoyable and comfortable. When you arrive you will see a QR code on the kitchen counter and use it to connect to the wifi.
Music
In the living room you will find a stacking record player. This was my mother's and it has lasted since 1962! You can put one record on the turntable and then stack up to 3 on the center rod. Gently lift up and move the L shaped arm over and it will snap down to secure the records flat. Then press the switch that says auto forward and let the arm do its thing with the needle. When one record ends the next one will flop down and when all four are done you can flip them and do the same thing to hear the other sides. Turn on the black receiver two shelves down and make sure it is on phono.
In case you prefer Bluetooth from your phone, connect to the living room speaker mini apple orange speaker. You can also login to your apple account on the Apple TV and stream music there. I also have two of my favorite instruments for you to enjoy- a banjolele and melodica. Enjoy, but please handle with care.
Projector
On the table you will find three remotes. The black one with the white triangles will lower and raise the projector screen. Make sure the record player cabinet front doors are closed. The second remote will turn on the projector- don't forget to remove the cap. Once it is on go to the left on the menu and connect to aux- Apple TV. Of course make sure you have turned on the Apple TV. Then login to your apple account and you can watch all the apps you have on the screen. You can also mirror from your device if you prefer. Some apps do not allow that for copyright reasons. If you leave and forget to remove your account, send me a message and I can do it for you. You can connect the orange apple speaker to to the projector for surround sound.
Closet, Cabinet, & Loft
(with twin bed)
This closet has extra towels and sheets inside as well as an ironing board and iron. You can also hang things on these rods in the front closet isn't enough space. There are extra blankets too for snuggling on the couch. There is a silver rod that is about 4 feet long and it has a hook on the end. Use it to open the loft door above the living room. Once open, the ladder is there and you can fold it down to access. There is a lock on the right that switches to secure, but you need to flip it to stow the ladder. The cabinet has fun games, paper, pens, utility items, bar items, table items, and cool glasses for your cocktails. There are some to go glasses and some frozen cold glasses (freezer) in the kitchen for going outside on the deck.
Kitchen
There is a wine fridge under the bar by the stools. Please don't microwave anything with gold or anything with metal- it will explode. Use the glass plates and bowls to microwave. There are cold glasses in the freezer. I have bought some great condiments in the fridge and the slide out spice drawer to the right of the sink. There are additional spices in the cabinet to the left of the oven. In case of a cooking fire there is a fire blanket just to the left of the washer and dryer along with an apron in case you would like to use one.
Upstairs bedrooms
The bedroom with the skylight has a remote to lower the skylight blind if you would like to block the light. There is a plug in space heater. Please unplug it when you leave.
Deck & Grill
This deck is the best deck in Telluride! Enjoy the only place with 360 degree views. The grill has some tools inside the grill for you to use. There should be plenty of propane. Please make sure you turn it off and let it cool before replacing the cover.
Front door
Upon arrival you should have instructions and a code to enter. When the door closes it immediately locks. At the bottom of the stairs entry you will find some salt. In the wintertime the sidewalk is shoveled, but sometimes it drips and is a little icy. This salt is pet friendly and a good idea to sprinkle to avoid slipping. Please remove your shoes on the bench provided in the outdoor hallway.
